How We Process 9x21 IMI Brass
Every batch of 9x21 IMI brass passes through multiple stages of sorting, cleaning, inspection, and quality control before being packaged for sale. Incoming material is sorted to remove steel, aluminum, rimfire cases, and other unwanted materials. Specialized sorting equipment helps separate cases by material, body diameter, rim diameter, and case length before the brass proceeds through additional processing.
This product is cleaned using our industrial wet-washing process and then dried and polished in heated corncob media. Cleaning and polishing improve the appearance of the brass, make the cases easier to inspect, and help protect them during storage.
Every batch is then hand-inspected to remove cases exhibiting split mouths, excessive corrosion, crushed case bodies, severely damaged rims, major physical damage, or other conditions that could reasonably affect reloadability.
Our Quality Standard
Once-fired brass is a previously used product, and every case has its own history. While no inspection process can identify every possible defect, our objective is to provide brass that we would be comfortable preparing for use at our own reloading bench.
If a case does not meet the practical quality standards we expect for our own brass, we would rather remove it than include it in a customer's order.
Regardless of where your brass is purchased, every case should be thoroughly inspected before reloading. The final inspection and preparation are always the responsibility of the individual assembling the ammunition.

About the 9x21 IMI Cartridge
The 9x21 IMI emerged during the 1980s as a centerfire pistol cartridge intended for civilian markets where ownership of firearms chambered for military-service cartridges such as the 9x19mm Parabellum was restricted.
