Our .40 S&W Washed & Polished once-fired brass is intended for reloaders who want clean, sorted cartridge cases while retaining control over their own case preparation and reloading process.

This .40 S&W brass is wet washed, then dry tumbled and polished. Each batch is hand-sorted to remove aluminum, steel, and nickel cases, leaving standard brass cases for reloading.

Cases are sold as mixed headstamp unless otherwise stated and use Boxer primer pockets unless specifically stated otherwise. Cases normally retain their spent primers. This is Washed & Polished brass rather than fully processed brass, so reloaders should complete their normal inspection and case-preparation procedures before loading.

What Washed & Polished Means

This product has completed our cleaning and sorting process but has not undergone the additional case-preparation steps associated with fully processed brass. The Washed & Polished option is intended for reloaders who prefer clean once-fired cases while performing their own remaining case preparation.

Cleaning and polishing improve the condition and appearance of the cases but do not replace the reloader's final inspection. Every case should be inspected and prepared appropriately before reloading.

Most once-fired brass orders include approximately 2–3% additional brass. Once-fired brass is a previously used product, and while we work hard to maintain high quality standards, no inspection process is perfect. Ordered 1,000 and received 1,025. 4 were 10mm which was ok, as I shoot 10mm also, 1 was crushed and couldn't be used. So out of the 1,000 I ordered, I could use 1024. I call that a real good deal and will be back. Telling my range buddys to give you a call too.

I'll order these again. Out of the 500 I ordered, I received 513. 2 were 10mm, so I had 511, inspected all of them, and they are good to load. Appreciate the fast shipping and will tell my friends.

Outstanding brass

I just received my order of these 40 cal cases and am highly pleased with them. Mine have a lot of Federal headstamps. USRS has sent me top quality reloading components and I will continue to do business with this straight shooter company. I highly recommend them.

Excellent service and casings

Brass came super quick and out of the 1,000 I bought, about 4 were bad. Much better than others that I have purchased from other companies. Ordered on Tue, it was here on Fri, good price, fast service and good product.

Disappointed

Ordered 500. They appear to all be Glock fired as I had to bulge bust and resize 100 %. 10% were unusable due to too much damage (someone on the range had a feed/ejection issue making them unsafe for reloading)
I will give credit for the price and fast shipping. But doubt I will order again.
I hadn't realized how old the previous reviews were.
