SnapSorter - Sort Brass by Height

Have you ever gotten tired of separating the 9mm Luger from the 380 ACP? The snap sorted can do a full 5 gallon bucket about every hour. These units have 5 positions for sorting brass, making it quick and easy to sort 8 or more buckets of brass per day. Think how much time that will save you! Great for clubs, ranges, etc.

Currently we use this to sort the 9mm, 223s, 38s, 40s, and 308s. You can easily tune this to your needs, as long as the brass height difference is at least 1/10" and the diameter is about the same as the other brass, i.e. 9mm/380 etc. However, 30/30 and 308 type would not sort as the base diameters are too great.

   1. 9mm Head. Preset for 380 ACP, 9mm Mak, 9mm Luger, 38 Super. Adjust or change as needed.
   2. 38/357 Mag. Preset for 38 Special and 357 Magnum. Adjust or change as needed.
   3. 40/10mm. Preset for 40 S&W and 10mm Auto.  Adjust or change as needed.
   4. 223/300 Blackout. Preset for 300 Blackout and 223/5.56. Adjust or change as needed.
   5. 308/6.5 Creedmoore and 30-06.  Adjust or change as needed.

Speed. Question is always, how fast does it go? Well, it depends, for smaller calibers like 9mm, it will pretty easily do around 5 to 6k an hour. 38s, and 40s are around 4k an hour, rifle brass is much slower, but we will time it later. For the smaller calibers, usually the hang up is not having a fast enough brass collator. We are currently building a larger, faster 16" which should be on the market by the end of the year.

This Patent Pending unit is now available for sale on a limited basis. First come, first serve! We will be releasing 5 each week for sale, and gradually increasing production.

30 day money back guarantee, 1 year parts and labor warranty

Includes:
- Complete unit for sorting your choice of 4 different brass sizes (including power supply). Purchase change out heads separately.
- Single controller for power and speed control. NOTE: a dual controller will be available later for also managing our brass collator.
- Brackets for 1" EMT pipe mounting.
- Template for table mounting.
- Instructions.

NOT Included (but needed):
- Brass collator. Brass MUST be dropped base down (like for reloading).
- Mount (see below).
- Buckets or containers for your sorted brass.

Mounting. We have ours mounted on 1" EMT Conduit (Home Depot) which is secured in a 5 gallon HD bucket. The  bucket is then filled with sand or concrete to provide stability. Lastly, we put this unit on a roll around (Amazon) for portability. We also provide a cut out stencil for those wanting to base mount it on a table instead.

Output tubes. We provide 5 each output tubes (12" long) which are clear vinyl (3/4 OD, 5/8 ID).  If you would prefer longer tubes, Home Depot has these in stock most stores.

Additional heads are available for easy swap out to the other calibers. Just unscrew 5 screws, slide out the motor, remove the output tubes, put the new head in place and slide the motor back in. Change out the dropper and you are ready to go with a new caliber. Swap out takes less than 5 minutes.

Power Requirements. 110v - 120v AC 60Hz. less than 1 amp.

Great idea, works well

I was a little hesitant to order one of these as there were no reviews on it yet. BUT, I decided to give it a try as there was a money back guarantee on it. Received it about a week after I ordered it and was pretty excited to try it. My neighbour came over to help me put it together and it went real smooth. I had an old beat up wooden table so I just used their included template and sketched it, then cut the table with a jig saw, cut wasn’t pretty but it worked.
I screwed it down, then slid my Dillon case feeder over to give it a try. Once I plugged it in, I was surprised how quite it was, then I realized that nothing was turning. I took a look at the directions and sure enough, it say you have to have brass in the machine for it to start turning, so I stuck a nut driver in the top of the drop tube and sure enough, it started quietly turning.
Pulled the nut driver out, and then connected the Dillon feeder, dropped in the brass and watched it turn! The Dillon couldn’t keep up with the sorter, so when the tube didn’t have a few cases in it, it automatically stopped, then waited till it had more in the tube, then restarted. Very slick!
Ran it for a few hours and did 2 buckets of 9mm/380 brass through it, found I had a few 9mm Makarov as well. Ran very well unless there was a smashed case and then I would put the bad case out and it would continue.
Overall, very pleased and will be getting another head for my 40 S&W sorting.
