Berrys 40 Caliber S&W/10mm 180 grain Round Shoulder Bullets

Berrys Superior Plated Bullets® are the finest bonded copper-jacketed bullets available today.

Starting with a swaged lead core, they are electroplated with copper to their final weight, leaving no lead exposure. They are then re-struck to precise specifications, ensuring a solid bond and providing consistency with every round.

The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating.

The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets.  They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets.

Indoor range safe and unbelievably accurate, Berrys Superior Plated Bullets® are the choice of shooters everywhere.

Bullets are swaged, then copper plated, and re-sized (Double-Struck). This low cost alternative to copper jacketing provides a bullet that is inexpensive, accurate, and best of all, does not lead the barrel!

Load data for Superior Plated bullets can be found in any manual or on any powder manufacturer’s website. Cast or jacketed data with the same grain weight and profile will work with our bullets. You can use a taper or a roll crimp.

• Don’t over crimp the brass after seating. This causes bullet core separation, leading to increased copper fouling and accuracy issues.
• Don’t exceed the recommended maximum velocities listed. This creates bullet core separation and accuracy issues.

WARNING: Improperly reloaded ammunition can cause serious personal injury. Reloading should only be done by competent adults after proper instruction. Always wear safety glasses when reloading and consult current powder data guides. Since reloading operations are beyond our control, we disclaim all liability for any and all damages that may result and assume no liability or responsibility, expressed or implied.

LEAD WARNING: Discharging firearms in poorly ventilated areas, cleaning firearms, or handling ammunition may result in exposure to lead and other substances known to cause birth defects, reproductive harm, and other serious physical injury. Work in adequate ventilation at all times. Wash hands thoroughly after exposure. DO NOT reuse any containers.
