The Lee Precision Factory Crimp Die is designed to give reloaders the perfect crimp on each round of reloaded ammunition. The Factory Crimp Die crimps the bullet more firmly in place than any other die with more uniform pressure.

Lee Factory Crimp dies

I have the Lee factory crimp dies for every caliber that I reload. Crimp is always consistent, and we do not get to fight the "Battle of the Bulge" any more. Rifle calibers I use are all collet-type crimp. The 9mm and 40SW that I got use a crimp method similar to your typical seating/crimp taper die, but somehow Lee figured out how to make the crimp without any pregnant casings.
