On March 12th, 2016, Amazon quietly changed their Restricted Products list and as such Amazon discontinues brass sales. Reloading brass (ammunition casings) sales are now prohibited. US Reloading Supplies and all reloading sellers received the following message about Amazon’s new policy: “This product has been identified as ammunition casings for a firearm. Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale on Amazon of ammunition casings, including casings for rifle, pistol, or shotgun ammunition.”
To comply with Amazon’s policy, US Reloading Supply will discontinue all brass sales through Amazon. We encourage our customers and welcome new customers to shop for brass and bullets on our Website. See Amazon Article: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_left_cn?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200277700 for more detailed information.
March 22nd, 2016 Update. We've been monitoring the brass at Amazon (Seller Forum posts too), and they still have some listed. Starline brass is now down to about 75 listings as of today. Two weeks ago there were well over 300. Looks like these are being thinned out over time. One of the comments we received on Facebook was the .300 AAC were still in stock, and it looks like they went from 18 listings down to 9. We couldn't find any 357 or 44 mags listed at all. Still a few 9mm and 10mm. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they determine what becomes eliminated next.
