Caliber: 6.5 Creedmore
Condition: Once Fired (Used)
This range brass includes both commercial and military casings. Brass is washed, then sorted by size and steel/aluminum/Berdan primed cases are removed. These cases could have minor dings, dents, slightly bent mouths, or other slight imperfections, but most flaws can be easily removed during resizing or will be shot out upon your first firing. If you are expecting a perfect case, then you would probably be happier with our new brass, these are quite good, but not perfect. They are one of your least expensive options when doing bulk reloading. Additionally, any brass, new or once fired, should always be carefully inspected and resized WITH YOUR DIES prior to loading. You will still need to FULL LENGTH RESIZE prior to loading.
"Once Fired Brass" (OFB) , is NOT new brass, but an ammunition/firearms industry term that describes used brass cases. We don't know how many times these have been fired and the only way to know for sure it is "once fired" is to open a new box and fire one yourself. We do NOT order this brass from a warehouse; if someone hasn't shot it and left it, then we can't put it in stock. Some brass cases such as 357 Magnum, 44 Spl/44 Magnum and 45 Colt (and many rifle calibers) are hard to find. When we get them in stock, we will post them, but often times the scarce ones will only be in stock for a few hours before they are snapped up.
NOTE: This is a 'standard' disclaimer for all Once Fired Brass, and may not apply in all cases, such as 38s, 44s, etc. Casings could have crimped primer pockets. When working with military cases, care must be given to ensure the primers are removed correctly and swaged. If you do not understand the difference between these types of cases, please contact us for information prior to ordering. When working with crimped pocket primers, be aware that removing crimped primers with a standard die may damage your die. We are not liable for damage to your equipment under any circumstances.
